Ali Ledgerwood - Administrator
Residing in Vancouver, but spending her formative years growing up in Whistler, Ali Ledgerwood has lived in Japan, England and many places in between.
Ali has worked in corporate business for over 20 years, but now runs her own organization which helps individuals, small organizations and not-for-profits realize success with her expertise in writing, marketing, event organizing and fundraising.
Ali has worked with various associations such as Molson Indy, World Cup Downhill, World Cup Freestyle, the Vancouver Olympic Organizing Committee, and various photo festivals across Canada.
She is the former Executive Director for the News Photographers Association of Canada (NPAC) and worked in many capacities within the organization including sales and marketing, accounts payable and receivable, contract negotiator, not to mention chief bottle washer. She continues to support ethical journalism.
Ali is also a co-founder of ARThanks, a community program for artists who gratefully donated their works to front line workers to acknowledge their amazing work during the height of the pandemic.
Most recently, Ali produced a rock show comprised of 11 bands with 32 artists including greats such as Bill Henderson of Chilliwack and Mike Reno of Loverboy to name a few, as a fundraiser for the BC Cancer Foundation and was able to raise $1Mllion for the cause.
Ali continues to fight for the underdog along with her cat Bella who has extremely large attitude.
