TEMP TIME is a purpose-driven social enterprise that connects businesses with reliable temporary staffing while creating meaningful employment opportunities for individuals in recovery from alcohol & substance use disorders. Our mission is to provide a pathway to sustainable employment, financial independence, and long-term recovery by partnering with employers who believe in second chances and the value of a dedicated and loyal workforce.
Employment is one of the strongest predictors of sustained recovery. TEMP TIME bridges the gap between employers experiencing labour shortages and individuals who are committed to rebuilding their lives through meaningful work.
TEMP TIME employs only people in 2nd stage recovery.
To achieve 2nd stage recovery and thus be eligible for TEMP TIME, candidates MUST:
• Be clean and sober for a period of time (usually 90 days)
• Have a supportive network in recovery and active in the recovery program
